Hartman Expedtie is formed by Hartman Transport, J.P. Vis & Zn. Internationaal Transport B.V. and Mera Trans B.V., among others.
With over 350 employees, 175 vehicles, 350 trailers and 14 LZV-combinations, our organization is specialized in temperature controlled transport of vegetables, fruits, flowers, plants and ornamental plants to and from Scandinavia. With a focus on Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
Through innovative management, modern resources, strategic locations with the right facilities and a both professional and informal partnership with our customers, employees and suppliers, we provide a complete service where the customer is completely carefree. We stand out for reliability, durability and safety.
We expect significant changes in the market for transportcompanies in the coming years. Our customers will mainly focus on reducing their stock and having the (ordered) goods available at the right time. The end user and/or consumer will also order online more and more in the next years.
In addition, we expect the market to demand an increasing focus on sustainability. Which is not limited exclusively to achieving a more environmentally friendly transportsolution with a clear goal towards climate-neutral transport in 2030. Which also includes social sustainability and corporate social responsibility as customer requirements.
At the same time, we expect an increasing requirement to link the criteria in terms of quality, sustainability and climate-neutral transport to a lower cost level.
In particular, we want to achieve this through cooperation within the Hartman Groep, combining goods flow and unifying relevant business processes such as purchasing and crossdocking will lead to a more efficient logistic process.
Hartman Transport was founded in 1996. From the need to expand, Hartman Expeditie was established in 2005 and Hartman Logistik in 2012.
In 2019 Hartman Expeditie acquired Brinkman Trans Holland and in the year 2020 J.P. Vis & Zn.
An business acquisition added Zwaan & Partners of Marknesse since January 2023 and Mera Trans B.V. of Waddinxveen since January 2024.
Together they form the Hartman Groep.
