Hartman Groep takes over Mera Trans BV

Last December 2023, the Hartman Groep from Nieuw-Amsterdam signed an agreement to take over Mera Trans. As of January 1, 2024, the transport activities, employees and entire fleet of Mera Trans from Waddinxveen will join the Hartman Groep. This acquisition not only strengthens the existing activities of the Hartman Groep, but also significantly increases its position in temperature controlled transport.

A battery container to store energy

Op 19 januari werd bij Hartman Expeditie in Veenoord een historisch moment gevierd. Op deze dag hebben wij onze batterijcontainer officieel in gebruik genomen. Vertegenwoordigers van Gedeputeerde Staten, de Provincie Drenthe en de Gemeente Emmen waren aanwezig bij dit bijzondere moment.

Acquisition of Zwaan & Partners by the Hartman Groep

Zwaan & Partners Logistics BV, based in Marknesse, will be taken over by the Hartman Groep from Nieuw-Amsterdam on January 1. The acquisition concerns all eight combinations of Zwaan & Partners. The drivers have been informed and will all transfer to the Hartman Groep.

Intermodal transport

The Hartman Groep has implemented an intermodal transport solution using road and rail transport to reduce CO2 emissions, increase loading capacity, reduce traffic congestion and respond to market challenges.

Hartman Expeditie truck inspires the new generation

The Hartman Expeditie truck recently visited the Aremberg primary school in Zwartsluis for the ‘Beroepen Doe Dag’ initiative to introduce students to different professions. The students were given the opportunity to explore the truck and ask questions about the driving profession.

The office and warehouse location of Hartman Expeditie and J.P. Vis & Zn. has recently been provided with our logos. With this, the powerful cooperation within our transport group and our joint sustainability label are brought to the attention of road users on the A37 in a stylish way.

New partnership with Scania

Hartman Expeditie has signed a two-year framework agreement with Scania Netherlands for the delivery of 50 brand new trucks.
